From early April until late October each year you can step back in time and take a journey on The Royal Scotsman. This will be an experience that you will remember a lifetime.
The Royal Scotsman winds through the wild Scottish countryside, through deep-green forests of pine, moors that turn purple in August and September when the heather is in bloom, golden fern covered hills, bright-green meadows dotted with black-faced sheep and shaggy Highland cattle, remote castles steeped in mystery and romance, whitewashed villages and calm, wide lochs that reflect the changing colours of the sky.
Guests disembark daily to visit exceptional places of interest, such as private residences, whisky distilleries or watching local fishermen haul up their catch.
