Guests then enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the Welcome Reception Area and 18th century Glazed Courtyard before retiring for dinner in the Queen Anne Room, which can cater for a maximum of 120 guests. The Jacobite Room is a contemporary space, based next to the iconic One O’clock Gun, which provides fantastic views of Princes Street to the Firth of Forth. The Jacobite Room can cater for up to 100 guests and comes alongside the adjoining Redcoat Room, which is a lovely venue for pre-dinner drinks. The Jacobite Room is the perfect venue for those looking for a memorable evening function complimented by spectacular views of Edinburgh.
The Gatehouse Suite
The 19th century Gatehouse Suite is located at the entrance of Edinburgh Castle. These rooms offer a luxurious setting for smaller more intimate dinners for up to 40 guests.
The Crown Banquet
On arrival guests will be greeted with a traditional welcome from the piper at the castle drawbridge. He will then lead the guests into the castle lower ward and onwards into the heart of the castle. There guests will enjoy a drinks and canapés reception followed by a 3-course gala dinner, a private viewing of the Scottish Crown Jewels, entertainment and the services of an on-site event manager.
The Scottish Banquet
The Scottish Banquet at Edinburgh Castle is an experience to remember. Upon arrival at the drawbridge, your guests will be greeted with a traditional piper’s welcome. He will then lead the guests into the heart of the castle to begin their evening of world famous Scottish hospitality. A spectacular finale will draw the evening to a close. A pipe band will perform a medley of traditional Scottish pieces. Guests are then invited to follow the band out of the castle.
